At the heart of the Q7 Meta is KEF's 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array, a signature feature that places the tweeter within the midrange cone.
This design ensures high and midrange frequencies originate from a single point, broadening the "sweet spot" and providing consistent sound distribution across your room. The midrange driver incorporates a Flexible Decoupling Chassis, a feature inspired by KEF's flagship Blade and Reference series. This technology isolates the midrange motor from the rest of the Uni-Q array, reducing cabinet vibrations and maintaining sound clarity.
Surrounding the Uni-Q array is KEF's Shadow Flare, a specialised component that minimizes baffle reflections and diffraction, allowing for cleaner, more focused sound. Beneath the Uni-Q array are two 6.5-inch hybrid aluminium bass drivers.
